Levi9 is hosting a free meetup in Belgrade on November 5 where software author Gojko Adžić will discuss how to keep humans in control of AI coding agents.

  • The free event runs Thursday, November 5, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Levi9 office in Belgrade.
  • Gojko Adžić will present his talk 'Keeping humans in the loop with AI coding agents.'
  • The talk covers guardrails, constraints, and feedback loops that keep AI-generated code maintainable.
  • The goal is code of human quality produced much faster, with key decisions kept in human hands.
  • Seats are limited, so registration through an online form on Meetup is required.

Levi9, an IT services company with an office in Belgrade, is organizing a free tech meetup on Thursday, November 5, at 6 p.m. The guest speaker is Gojko Adžić, a software author and conference speaker, who will give a talk titled Keeping humans in the loop with AI coding agents. The event takes place at the Levi9 office at Bulevar vojvode Bojovića 4g.

Who is the speaker

Adžić is the author of several books on software development and has spoken at technology conferences around the world. In Serbia he is also known for MindMup, a mind-mapping application. When the Serbian IT portal StartIT wrote about it, the app had more than three million users.

What the talk covers

Adžić first delivered the talk as a keynote at the Craft conference in Budapest. It presents findings from research among teams that started using AI agents to write code early and have applied engineering practices systematically while doing so.

His starting point is that so-called vibe coding, a loose style of programming in which a developer relies on an AI tool to generate code from short prompts, can shorten the path to a prototype considerably. It can also leave behind code that nobody is able to maintain.

To address this, the talk shows how to set constraints and guardrails for AI agents. According to the organizers, the aim is for the code to be as good as code written by people, but produced much faster.

Adžić will also describe patterns that keep key decisions in human hands, as well as feedback loops that keep the agents on track.

Registration

The session runs from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Entry is free, but the number of seats is limited, so registration is required through an online form. Further details are available on the event page on Meetup, under the Levi9 Tech9 group.
